Ask.com wants to cease retaining search information for its users. It is intended to create some feature that can be easily turned on and off. They are also going to review contracts with third party partners (like Google) to limit what they are allowed to do with the information that they obtain from Ask. Hopefully, this will be a step in the right direction for internet privacy. It's nice to see that someone cares. Though I'm sure their agenda isn't all that altruistic. They just want market share like everyone else. Maybe I should say that it's nice to see that someone is listening.....
